Another chance to influence RIDOT: Its Director, Jerry Williams, is now scheduled to hold the roundtable with environmental groups at 10am on Friday, Dec 7, the day after the Prov Bike Coalition brewfest. I hope the coalition can send a representative, please let me (or Sue Barker) know if you want to get something on the agenda which has to be finalized by Dec 3.

Excellent letter Jack, wish I had written it!
There may be opportunities to redirect RIDOT priorities a bit in both an amendment to the existing plan anticipated early next year, and an update of the long range plan to go to public, probably next spring.

The big $$ to watch out for in the future is a plan to widen I-295 and I-95 all the ay to the CT state line. It is in "study and development" as are several bikeway plans (in Cranston, Tiverton, Aquidneck Island, Jamestown, etc)
