Nice map, but what does it mean? What’s a Phase I Bicycle Route? What does it mean that something is Existing/Under Development?

Good questions, John. Phase 1 and phase 2 simply refer to when the plan will be implemented for those routes. The bike route signs (and bike lane striping on Broadway) for Phase 1 routes will be installed this year. I don’t know when the city is planning on installing the signs for the phase 2 routes. “Existing/Under Development” routes are those which have already been implemented. This refers to the bike lanes already striped along Allens Ave, Promenade, and Kinsley, and the bike route signs that lead from Providence Place Mall to Olneyville then out to Johnston.
