		<description>I'd like to see HOV lanes go in on 195.  If we could get to a point where it was faster for people to commute by bus or when carpooling, we would start to see a decrease in the number of single occupancy cars.  The state officials are fooling themselves if they think the I-way redesign is a long term solution to the traffic problems.  It may well reduce congestion for a while, but the cars will keep coming and the traffic jams will just involve more cars in the future.

I keep telling myself that Rhode Island is a small enough state that we should be able to have effective alternative public and alternative transportation systems.</description>
