Slow moving traffic is what you want if you're a shop owner or urban planner. Fast moving traffic just leaves dust, film, grime, soot and ruined lives in its wake. Economies built on automotive are doomed. Motors are always the villains. Society must restore humanity and quit exalting mechanisms. In earning potential alone, one human life is WORTH MORE than a dozen SUVs. Quit exalting bicycles, too. A bicycle is just a pair of sneakers, apparel to get you walking faster. Start honoring, planning for, and promoting PEOPLE. Similarly, some local kids marched last year against a Chinese restaurant in North Providence who were using a fryolater built by nonunion (slave) labor. Without provocation, cops roughed up a couple of them and broke one girl's leg. So you don't have to go to a big city to witness contempt for fellow men/women.
