		<description>Was joined by Mellisa and John from ride in from Smithfield. Both are experienced riders from Johnston, who backtracked to meet me. Pleasant riding with them in drizzle. 

John wanted to use more of the Northwest Bikeway (though I planned a Stop &amp; Shop stop), since the pavement on Manton isn&#039;t great; complained a little over the bikeway arrangement in Eagle Square, which IS confusing. 

Noticed some dangerous damage on bikeway crossing just North of Manton, a sharp stump that sticks up (used to be a sign).

On way home via Eddy Street passed the homeless camp under entrance to I-195. Sad.</description>
